Wilson was lodged on the following charges.
Attempted Murder in the 1st degree, an unclassified felony.
Miscounduct Involving Weapons in the 2nd degree, a class B felony.
Four counts of Assault involving a police officer in the 3rd degree, a class C felony.
Assault in the 3rd degree Domestic Violence, a class C felony.
Criminal Mischief in the 3rd degree, a class C felony.

Wilson was lodged without bail.

Last night (April 7, 2012) at 10:13pm the Juneau Police Department received a call from a woman in the 9000 block of Black Wolf Way stating that, 45 year old Juneau resident Troy Wilson, was intoxicated, had a gun and threatened to hurt himself. Wilson said that he would shoot if he saw any police officers near the house. A few minutes later a neighbor called saying that the woman was safely at his house.

When officers arrived they set up a parameter and waited for SWAT and Crisis Negotiations Team (CNT) members to arrive. Wilson began shooting at officers and vehicles. Throughout the incident Wilson fired approximately 75 shots from the house. A JPD police cruiser sustained damage being hit by 6-8 shots however no officers were injured during the incident.

Officers advised people in the surrounding houses of the danger of the incident and requested that they evacuate until the area was safe. Those that decided not to evacuate were asked to remain in their home.

CNT members were able to talk to Wilson and this morning (April 8, 2012) at 2:49am Wilson surrendered. He was arrested and lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Charges are pending further investigation.
