On March 11, 2012 at about 0500 hours, the Juneau Police Department received a report of a Robbery that occurred in the 400 block area of Willoughby Avenue. The victim called JPD to report a man walked into a business and demanded money from the victim and threatened to use of a weapon.

JPD officers responded to the area and began an investigation. The investigation revealed that the man walked into the business and demanded an unspecified amount of money from the victim. When the victim refused to provide the money the man lifted his shirt and grabbed what appeared, to the victim, to be a knife hidden in the suspect?s waistband. The victim told the man to ?stop? and gave the man over $500 in cash. After the suspect received the stolen money he fled the scene on foot and later possibly in a vehicle.

The victim described the suspect as a white male in late 20?s or early 30?s, about 5?6? to 5?7? feet tall, and weighing between 185 and 215 pounds. The suspect was also described as having some facial hair. The victim said the suspect ran from the immediate area on foot and after the victim lost sight of the suspect a dark colored SUV style vehicle was seen leaving the area. It is unclear if the vehicle is related to this incident.
