On December 13, 2011, at 2:52am, the Juneau Police Department responded to a report that a man had been stabbed in the chest at the 5000 Block of North Douglas Highway. The man, 55 year old Sitka resident Byron John Paul, died at the hospital. His death was reported by witnesses as a suicide.
The investigation into this case continues.
