On December 14, 2011 at about 5:30pm the Juneau Police Department received a report of a marijuana grow inside a residence in the 5000 block of North Douglas Highway. Officers responded and served a search warrant on the residence.
Inside, officers located a 181 plant grow operation. The street value of the plants is estimated at $200,000. The plants and associated grow equipment were seized. A tenant of the residence, 27 year old Scott EBERHARDT, was arrested and lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center on a charge of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the 4th Degree, a class C Felony.
The Juneau Police Department was assisted in the investigation by agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the United States Coast Guard Investigative Service, and the Southeast Alaska Cities Against Drugs Taskforce.
