On 10/21/2011, at about 0732 hours, the Juneau Police Department (JPD) received a report of a motor vehicle collision involving multiple cars on Egan Drive outbound near the access road to Glacier Highway at Wal-Mart.
When JPD arrived on scene, only one of the vehicles was still on scene.
Egan Drive was shut down for about 40 minutes while an investigation was conducted. The investigation revealed at least three vehicles were involved; however, only one was on scene.
Anybody with additional information about the accident is encouraged to call the Juneau Police Department at 586-0600.
This case is still under investigation and leads are being pursued.
