On 10/10/11, around 3:40 pm, the Juneau Police Department (JPD) received a report of a threatening note on a mailbox around the 2500 block of Douglas Hwy. JPD?s Explosive Ordinance Team responded to the scene and determined the note was a hoax. The Douglas Hwy was shut down intermittently during the 3 hour period. An investigation into the source of the note continues.
