Last night at 11:09 pm, the Juneau Police Department received a report of an attempted robbery involving a firearm at an apartment building in the downtown area. Officers met with the victim, a 45 year-old Juneau man. He told officers that while visiting an acquaintance at an apartment, the man pointed a handgun at him, and demanded the belongings he was carrying. The victim left the apartment without giving the items to the suspect, and later contacted the police.
This case remains under investigation and leads are being pursued.
