On 8-19-11, at 8:23am, the Juneau Police Department received a report of an unresponsive person in a ditch near the intersection of Valley Boulevard and Mendenhall Loop Road. Police and Capital City Fire Rescue responded and discovered the body of 48 year old Juneau resident, Marilyn WILLIAMS.
After preliminary investigation no foul play is suspected. The next of kin has been notified and an autopsy has been requested.
The case remains under investigation.
