On July 12, 2011, at approximately 5:00pm the Juneau Police Department received a report from a 24 year old Juneau woman that she had been sexually assaulted by 27 year old Juneau resident Thomas Jack. The assault had happened two days prior and Jack was an acquaintance of the woman.
As a result of the investigation Jack was arrested and charged with sexual assault in the 1st degree, which is an unclassified felony, and sexual assault in the 2nd degree, which is a class B felony.
Jack was lodged at Lemon Creek Correctional Center without bail.
