On Tuesday June 28th at approximately 12:15 PM, the Juneau Police Department received a second hand report that a man had made threats against McDonald?s restaurant. Officers responded and contacted the store management who made a decision to limit foot traffic in the lobby. Juneau Police Officers and an Alaska State Trooper were stationed on sight until the matter was resolved.
At about 1:30 PM, officers located the man who made the alleged threats. Upon further investigation it was determined the threats were not as serious as first reported. The man was taken to the hospital for an evaluation.
