On 05-21-2011 at 0149 hours, the Juneau Police Department received a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on Riverside Drive, near Mall Road. Responding officers found a single vehicle involved in the accident, a 2009 Honda Metropolitan scooter-style motorcycle.
Investigation revealed the driver of the motorcycle, a 31 year-old male, had been riding on Riverside Drive when he lost control and struck a concrete median. Capital City Fire and Rescue transported the driver to the Bartlett Regional Hospital for treatment of apparent life-threatening injuries.
This case remains under investigation.
