Mark your calendars for
Monday, March 14th, 2011
6:00pm-7:00pm at Centennial Hall
Please come support the Juneau School District 4th/5th grade students by attending their D.A.R.E. Graduation Ceremony on Monday, March 14th, 2011 6:00pm-7:00pm at Centennial Hall.
The Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) Program is an exciting nine-week program that helps students resist pressures, which may influence them to experiment with alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, inhalants, and other drugs. Students were introduced to the D.A.R.E. Decision Making Model that will help assist them in problem solving and making wise decisions.
Students will receive a D.A.R.E. Graduation Certificate and a D.A.R.E. T-shirt for completing the program. We are trying to make this a special event for the students so please come and join us. Also, we will be putting together a slide show of photographs from the D.A.R.E. classes we hope you will enjoy.
