JPD Seeks Assistance Locating Missing Juneau Woman
The Juneau Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 37-year-old Juneau resident Lauralee Josephine Peters.
On September 3, 2026, JPD received a report that Lauralee had not been seen or heard from for approximately one week. Lauralee was injured in early July and has since traveled to Wrangell and Anchorage for medical treatment. She was last known to be in Juneau. She may be walking with a cane and may have difficulty climbing stairs. Lauralee is known to frequent the downtown Juneau area.
Lauralee is described as Alaska Native, about 5' 3" tall and approximately 200 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. A photograph of Lauralee will be posted with this release and on the JPD Facebook page.
