The Juneau Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 17-year-old Kaitlynn Elizabeth Murphy, who was reported missing by her family on April 15, 2026. Kaitlynn was last seen on the evening of April 13, 2026, and it was reported that she left home to attend school on the morning of April 14 but has not returned home since. Officers confirmed with the school that Kaitlynn did not attend classes on April 14.
Kaitlynn is described as approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing around 300 pounds, with long black hair, brown eyes, and glasses. It is unknown what clothing she was wearing when she went to school. A recent photo of Kaitlynn is available on the Juneau Police Department’s Facebook page.
