Summary:
On 12/20/2025, at about 7:30 PM., the Juneau Police Department received a report of a residential structure fire in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway, and that one of the residents was possibly still inside. JPD and CCFR responded to the residence, and after the fire was extinguished, CCFR located the deceased body of a 38-year-old male inside.

Next of kin has been notified. JPD will release the name of the deceased on 12/22/2025. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
