On 11/04/2025, at about 6:10 A.M., the Juneau Police Department received a report of a single-vehicle crash in the area of Egan Drive at the outbound off-ramp near the U-Haul building. It was reported that the driver of the vehicle had been partially ejected from a gray Ford F-150 truck. The driver of the vehicle, a 28-year-old female Juneau resident, had sustained life-threatening injuries during the crash. She was the only occupant of the vehicle. The driver was transported to the hospital and later medevaced out of town for treatment.
The intersection and the right lane of Egan Drive outbound were closed off during the investigation. It has since been reopened. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
