On April 11th, 2025 at around 10:48 a.m., the Juneau Police Department received a report that shots had been fired by a female in the area of Sherwood Lane.
During the investigation, officers located a black Honda Accord in the area with multiple occupants. The subjects in the vehicle were contacted and the vehicle was cleared due to the active investigation and safety concerns related to shots being fired. No firearms were found on the subjects or in the vehicle. It was determined that those subjects were not involved in the shots fired incident.
25 year-old Juneau resident Andrea Cook was contacted in the vehicle and arrested on a $100 JPD warrant charging Failure to Appear for Arraignment, original charge Interfering with an Officer. She was transported to and lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
The female that had reportedly discharged a firearm left the scene prior to JPD officer’s arrival. No one was injured in the incident.
