We are seeking candidates with a mechanical aptitude that enjoy operating, cleaning and maintaining the various types of vehicles and equipment Capital Transit uses to provide exceptional and reliable service to the community.

Working for the Capital Transit Maintenance is both rewarding and challenging. Our employees are essential to the safe and reliable operation of Juneau’s Transit System. We offer training and opportunities for employees to improve their knowledge and skills.
WORKING HOURS AND LOCATION
This position typically works 10 hour shifts, Wednesday through Saturday, 6:30am – 5:00pm at the Capital Transit Bus Barn Maintenance Facility located in the Mendenhall Valley. Actual shift may vary.
