Savikko Stairs Reconstruction

The WORK consists of removal of approximately 190 feet of existing stairways, landings and footings at the Savikko Stairs between St. Ann’s Avenue and Savikko Park in Douglas; construction of approximately 190 feet of new stairways, landings and footings at Savikko Park; the existing landing metal and stair treads can be reused on this project. If existing landing metal and existing stair treads are unusable new landing metal and stairway treads will need to be purchased for this project. Construction of stairway approach at the upper and lower ends of the stairway; minor grading and drainage; and other miscellaneous related WORK.
