The purpose of this construction contract is to upgrade the CBJ’s communication facilities at the Pederson Hill tower site, Mendenhall Peninsula, Juneau, Alaska. The WORK includes, but is not limited to: clearing and grubbing; excavation; embankment; construction of a generator shed and foundation, and installation of an emergency generator with associated electrical WORK, and a propane tank; installation of intrusion/surveillance equipment; stabilization of existing radio tower foundation and relocation of a guyline anchor; and all other WORK necessary to provide complete working radio communications with emergency power provided to the radios by the new generator.
