Discussion: | The National Weather Service Forecasts- TODAY...LOCALLY WINDY. SUNNY. HIGHS 27 TO 35. EAST WIND 5 TO 15 MPH. NEAR DOWNTOWN JUNEAU AND DOUGLAS NORTHEAST WIND 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 40 MPH. TONIGHT...LOCALLY WINDY. MOSTLY CLEAR. LOWS 15 TO 25...EXCEPT WEDNESDAY...SUNNY. HIGHS AROUND 25. NORTHEAST WIND 10 TO 20 MPH. Temperatures remain cool and clear. The snowpack is currently quite stable throughout the region. Conditions will remain the same until there is a significant change in the weather. There will be a mild Taku wind event today but there is very little snow available for transport so the danger levels should remain low. Be safe and enjoy another sunny day. |
